The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Zamfara State Council has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire in Kaura Namoda town, which claimed the lives of 17 Almajiris.
The statement, issued by NUJ officials Ibrahim Musa Maizare and Ibrahim Ahmad Gada, offered condolences to the victims’ families and the community.
The NUJ called for greater attention to safety measures and support systems for vulnerable groups to prevent future tragedies.
They also extended their solidarity and support to the affected community, wishing for peace and strength in the aftermath of the loss.
