Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), has denied making critical comments about Governor Alex Otti of Abia State.
The remarks, which were falsely attributed to her, were reportedly made at a Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference and discussed issues related to the Enyimba Economic City project. Okonjo-Iweala condemned the statements as fake and warned against political hacks using her name for propaganda.
She announced her intention to take action against those responsible for spreading the misinformation.
