Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has pledged to resolve the ongoing boundary disputes with Oyo State, emphasizing the importance of peace in the region. During a visit from the National Boundary Commission (NBC), represented by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi, Adeleke highlighted efforts to engage experts for assessments and to work with the NBC as an impartial mediator.
He expressed confidence in the NBC’s ability to provide fair resolutions and urged affected communities to embrace peace. NBC Director General Adamu Adaji reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to promoting coexistence by clearly defining boundaries and ensuring fairness in conflict resolution.
