Oyo State NUJ Chairman, Ademola Babalola has instructed all Journalists in the state to boycott any press conference organised by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode in continuation of his tour to PDP controlled states.
Babalola issued the directive on Monday while featuring on a live programme in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.
Recall that the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode blasted a journalist who asked him about being bankrolled during a media briefings with some of the journalists after his recent tours of some South-South and southeast states.
In the course of the briefing, Femi Fani-Kayode had insulted the Daily Trust reporter Eyo Charles, for asking him a question on who was bankrolling him in his tour but Fani-Kayode described Eyo’s question as ‘very stupid’.
It had earlier been reported that the state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Akwa Ibom state has directed its members to boycott a press conference planned for Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation.
