The Baale Ayeigun of Oluyole Ibadan and state Chairman Oyo state Saw- millers, timber and planks contractors Alhaji Chief Olajide Kabiru has called on the Oyo State independent electoral Commission for what he called balanced conduct of election.
The Baale Ayeigun of Oluyole while addressing journalist in Ibadan Oyo State capital ahead of the forthcoming election into local Government Council on Saturday 22nd May, 2021 said the electoral Commission should ensure they are not biased for any selfish or unjustifiable purpose.
Furthermore, while he was showering encomiums on the state Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde on the peaceful atmosphere enjoyed under his administration and the infrastructure built by him, Baale Ayeigun also called on the Oyo State Electoral Commission, (OYOSEC) to be put justice and equity to play in the conduct of the council election and endeavor that all the contestants from respective political parties are given fair hearing in vote counting.
Chief Olajide Kabiru regretted that some youths have already plotted to cause mayhem if their candidate is not favoured at the end of the poll, he said the only remedy that can quench such purported Immoral is when the electoral body is independent without bias in favour of any political party.
He also called on the security operatives to be at alert in ensuring that any form of malpractices by politicians is crushed to zero level during the voting process.
He wish the commission a peaceful conduct of election come Saturday.
