The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has become more heated, with the National Working Committee (NWC) dismissing the suspension of Senator Adolphus Wabara, a prominent member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The NWC believes that the suspension imposed by the Abia State chapter of the party was not in line with the party’s constitution, which requires certain procedures to be followed for such disciplinary actions.
The group also countered by expelling Abraham Amah, the Abia State PDP Chairman, over the issue of alleged impersonation.
This clash highlights ongoing tensions within the party, particularly following Wabara’s endorsement of Governor Alex Otti for a second term in office, which seems to have sparked controversy.
