Former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, recently shared insights on Nigerian political rivalries, stating that such conflicts are not genuine but merely staged for public entertainment.
He made this comment during his 60th birthday thanksgiving service at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Isan Ekiti. Fayemi explained that the presence of his political opponents, like Segun Oni, at his celebration was not surprising, as they had shared personal moments previously.
He further emphasized that despite political differences, there is a shared vision for a united Ekiti State, transcending party lines.
