The Presidential aide on new media, Bashir Ahmad said President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, August 26, swore-in the newly appointed permanent secretaries and other government officials.
The swearing ceremony, was held inside the council chambers at the State House, Abuja, and highlighted the first virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Ahmad shared this information via a tweet on his Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon. He said :
“At the commencement of this week’s virtual Federal Executive Council (vFEC) Meeting, President Muhammadu Buhari sworn-in the new appointed Permanent Secretaries and other Government Officials at the Council Chambers, the State House, Abuja,”
The appointees are Akinlade Oluwatoyin (North Central), Alkali Nura (North West), Anyanwutaku Ifeoma (South East), Ardo Kumo (North East), Belgore Muhammad Lamido (North Central), Ekpa Akpabio (South South), and Hussaini Babangida (North West).
Others are Mahmuda Mamman (North East), Meribole Emmanuel Chukwuemeka (South East), Mohammed Aliyu Ganda (North West), Tarfa Yerima Peter (North East) and Udoh Monilola Omokunmi (South West).
Their states of origin are Kogi, Kano, Anambra, Gombe, Kwara, Cross River, Jigawa, Yobe, Abia, Sokoto, Adamawa and Oyo.
Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Meribole (ABIA), Dr. Yerima Peter Tarfa (ADAMAWA), Dr. (MRS) Ifeoma Adaora Anyanwutaku (ANAMBRA), Dr. (Mrs) Anthonia Akpabio Ekpa (AKWA IBOM), Dr. Babayo Ardo Kumo (GOMBE), Alhaji Babangida Hussaini (JIGAWA) and Engr Bashir Nura Alkali (KANO) during their swearing-in by the President held at the Council Chambers State House.
