Residents of Osogbo, the Osun State capital has reportedly taken to the Streets in protest on Friday Morning to register their anger against the hike in the price of petrol and electricity tariff.
According to the report, the protesters gathered at Oke Goa and marched to the popular Freedom Park from where they proceeded on the protest to streets in the state capital.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the protesters chanted anti-government songs as they marched through the streets.
They expressed bitterness with the Nigerian government for making Nigerians suffer untold hardship while those in power are living in affluence.
The angry protesters argued that the express approval of President Muhammadu Buhari for the dual increment of Electricity tariff and fuel price increase showed that he never cared about the people.
