Rivers United assistant coach, Ndubuisi Nduka says the Naija Super 8 pre-season tournament will boost the teams’ preparations for next season.
The Pride of Rivers’ experienced tactician highlighted that the calibre of opponents in the tournaments will aid his team’s performance ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier League season.
Nduka also pointed out that Rivers United’s new recruits have also benefited from the competition.
“It’s a good competition and I want to encourage the organisers to continue with it annually,” he stated in a chat with the media in Lagos.
“Rivers United personally have benefitted from this tournament.
“Our new players, as well as the old players too, have gained from it with their adaptability and it boosted their fitness level.”
