Augustine Eguavoen has stepped down as interim coach of the Super Eagles following a 0-0 draw with Rwanda. His brief tenure, which was only intended for two games, included a 3-0 victory over Benin Republic and the recent draw.
Eguavoen, who also serves as the Nigeria Football Federation’s technical director, expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance but declined to comment on future matches or his involvement beyond this interim period.
