In Jigawa State, Nigeria, the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board reported that 27,026 out of 32,653 applicants failed the Computer Based Test (CBT) for a temporary teaching job.
Professor Haruna Musa, the board’s chairman, noted that only 5,624 applicants passed. These successful candidates will undergo further screening and credential verification before 3,000 are selected for temporary teaching positions in primary and junior secondary schools across the state.
