President Bola Tinubu, during his address at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, emphasized the importance of global collaboration for sustainable development.
He highlighted that no nation can achieve sustainability in isolation, advocating for collective action to combat climate change and reshape the global energy landscape.
Tinubu detailed Nigeria’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions, prioritizing energy transition, climate resilience, and sustainable development, while aligning local realities with global aspirations.
He also outlined Nigeria’s green initiatives, including the promotion of clean energy, climate-smart agriculture, and green financing, and called for international cooperation to support these efforts.
