Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, has asserted that President Bola Tinubu is set to lead Nigeria for eight years, given the recent vote of confidence by the Council of State.
Bwala emphasized that despite current criticisms and protests against Tinubu’s administration, including economic challenges and public demonstrations, the president’s tenure is secure unless the electorate decides otherwise in the 2027 elections.
He suggested that political opposition should accept this reality and move forward, rejecting any attempts at “backdoor regime change.”
