Shehu Sani, former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate has on Sunday, in a post on his social media pages, lampooned on Nigerians for being tribalistic on the way they approach issues that bother on the entire country.
He revealed that Nigerians give special treatment to some individuals based on ethnicity.
Mr Sani pointed out that some Nigerians who rejoiced over the recent extradition of the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are not working to sabotage the extradition of the Nigerian Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IGP-IRT) Commander and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
The Nigeria’s most decorated police officer, Abba Kyari, also known as ‘Super Cop’ is currently under fire over his alleged link to a suspected internet and cybercrime fraudster, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi which has caught the attention of the United States FBI.
He may be extradited to the United States upon the conclusion of investigations concerning his involvement.
Newsie Events recalled that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, had linked Kyari to Hushpuppi during an investigation.
Going by reactions from the Netizens, there are excitement from the southern part of the country while the Northerners are filled with rage over the FBI arrest warrant.
Shehu Sani, while reacting, wrote, “You are happy Kanu is extradited but you don’t want Kyari extradited. You want Kyari extradited but you hated the extradition of Kanu. You want Igboho to be extradited but you are opposed to the extradition of Kyari.
“You don’t want Kanu extradited but you want Igboho extradited.
