The remains of the madam Affiong Umossoh has been laid to rest in her home town.
Late Mrs. Umossoh was the mother of Barr. Nsini Umossoh an erstwhile member of the Green Chambers of the National Assembly who died in active representation, representing Ikot Ekpene federal constituency, Akwa Ibom State.
The funeral service which took place on Thursday 13th February 2020 was conducted by The Holy Ghost Apostolic Church Mission INC, at Government primary school Afaha Ikot Ebak, Essien Udim LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
In a biography read by a member of the deceased Family said Madam Offiong was a devoted Christian and a community builder.
She was committed to the upbringing of her children, very supportive in the family with peaceable character.
Speaking with the chief mourner Barr. Ime Umossoh said the mother was a kind-hearted woman who imbibe in the fear of God.
Barr. Umossoh tells newsmen that the quality of love they as children enjoyed from their late mother and her kind gesture was not limited to the family but to the community at large.
He prayed to God for eternal rest as they will meet to part no more on the last day.
