Although 2023 political season is still far approaching, but serious underground works are in top gear to building structures and grassroots mobility.
One of such structure has just been inaugurated across the 31 local government Areas of Akwa Ibom State Known as Udom Inoyo Fans Club, the organization is aimed at mobilizing an unfliuy supports for the gubernatorial aspiration of the National Vice Chairman of the Exon Mobile Mr Udom Inoyo.
Addressing the Ward Coordinators and some Chapter Officers in the inaugural ceremony of the Club in Abak chapter of the organization which took place on Sunday 17, February 2020 the Chapter Coordinator of the organization, Comrade Ntieneke Abia explained that as fans club, the purpose of floating the organization is to sensitize and mobilize the people at the grassroots to support Mr Udom Inoyo’s aspiration with positive intentions of building Akwa Ibom state to the economic standard and development.
Comrade Abia extolled the exemplary qualities of Mr Udom Inoyo, stressing that the Governorship and principal of the club have possessed the needful qualities to succeed Mr Udom Emmanuel as Governor of the state in 2023.
The Chapter Coordinator harped on the need for the emerging chapter Executives to cooperates, working in harmony and preach the coming of Udom Inoyo to all land and sundry in the area.
He also emphasizes on the need for members of the organization to join hands together and pray for the success of Mr Udom Inoyo’s aspiration, pointing out that there is nothing so impossible before God.
Representatives of the five Clans in Abak Local Government Area who spoke at the meeting including Mr Idorenyin Essien (Ediene), Mr Godwin Thompson (Otoro), Mr Emmanuel Etim (Afaha Obong), Mr Edet Titus (Medium) and Mr Aniedi Udofia (Abak), commended the Chapter Coordinator for his well-thought initiative and pledged to work together with him for the success of Mr Udom Inoyo aspiration.
They described the Executive Vice Chairman of Exxon Mobil as good material and called on members to be steadfast to enable them to succeed in the task of mobilizing and sensitizing the people at the grassroots.
